這次桌椅的創作所使用的木材是紋路分布較不規則且質地鬆軟的柳杉，選材、繪圖、鋸材，取好材料後，再經粗磨、細磨、修邊、測量、標記、取孔、引孔，組裝好後上蠟桌面及椅面、椅背，其他部位則以二度底漆、細磨後在上面漆，用來增加使用年限，碳化處理則更加突顯杉木紋之美。
設計細節參考人體坐姿及用餐經驗作為考量，有舒適的餐桌椅才有好心情享用美食。
The table and chairs are made of Japanese cedar with irregular and soft texture. At first, I select the material, drawing, and saw the wood into the shapes. Then, I sand, trim the edges, mark and drilling. After the preparing, I fabricate the wood parts into table and chair and polish with wax, some parts I cover with paint, and highlight the wood grain by carbonized.
It is worth to enjoy a meal with a comfortable dining table and chairs.
