There are differences between every culture. Migrant workers are a very strangeness group in our daily life. It is difficult for them to integrate into Taiwan’s society. However, migrant workers have been an indispensable part of Taiwan. From now on, we should provide more friendly spaces for each other. Besides alienate, we can have a new possibility between us. At the beginning of the design, I make experiment with different materials to have a better understanding of “mix”. During this process, I find that when the pigments are fused with each other. Different levels of boundaries will be formed between the colors, and each of color retains its own block but harmonizes well. Then, I take this as the core concept to develop this design, I deconstruct the elements of space, and think about whether the boundary of the space can also be more flexible. The site is in the east parking of Taipei Station. This is an area excluded our daily life. I hope to create a space where everyone can aware of the existence of migrant workers and reactivate this area.
