在疫情時代中，人們被迫改變原來的生活，進而衍生出新的生活方式，來維持整個社會的基礎，而居家辦公、上課，成為了大多數人生活的一部分，然而許多中小家庭中卻沒有合適的空間。
因此產品以開放式廚房中的中島作為主體，因應後疫情時代的發展，設計住商兩用的使用方式，能在工作與烹飪之間方便且快速的切換。
延伸式桌板設計大幅縮小體積，在不需要烹調時增加可用的空間，解決中小家庭空間不足的問題。在使用上，可將中島桌面當成一個辦公桌或餐桌使用，當需要使用到烹調功能時，可直接將桌板做延伸，同時滿足兩邊的需求。
前後兩側也有各自的收納空間，可以分別收納不同功用的物品，在烹調桌面的下方，設有大小不同的收納櫃，可收納小餐具至大鍋子，都可滿足需求。在桌面上設有軌道式插座，不侷限電源的位置，增加電系產品的使用方便性。
在材料上使用梣木與胡桃木，並且將部分梣木做染黑的處理，增加整體視覺的層次。

Taking the central island in the open kitchen as the main body, in response to the development of the post-epidemic era, the design is designed for both residential and commercial use, which can easily and quickly switch between work and cooking.
The extension table design greatly reduces the volume, increases the available space when cooking is not required, and solves the problem of insufficient space for small and medium-sized families. In use, the central island tabletop can be used as a desk or dining table. When the cooking function is required, the tabletop can be directly extended to meet the needs of both sides.
There are also separate storage spaces on the front and back sides, which can store items with different functions. Under the cooking table, there are storage cabinets of different sizes, which can store small tableware to large pots, all to meet the needs.There is a rail socket on the desktop, which does not limit the position of the power supply, and increases the convenience of using electrical products.
Ash and walnut are used as materials, and part of the ash is dyed black to increase the overall visual level.
